More to your point above, Citi, along with so many other banks large and small, have failed at loyalty &quot;programs&quot; beyond co-brand credit cards.  Thank You hasn&#039;t been adopted as the coalition it aspired to be and Citi&#039;s own balance sheet problems don&#039;t help.
