I think the challenge is that many still look at the kinds of initiatives you referenced and say &quot;Well, those aren&#039;t loyalty programs&quot; because they don&#039;t match the traditional model -- a model that I also agree is very likely on the decline.  I don&#039;t see the points/rewards model going away, but it is increasingly going to become subordinate to much more innovative approaches.  Gamified models, social models, geo-location based models -- we need to be embracing these new concepts. Personally, I think they are going to make loyalty marketing a hell of a lot of fun for the next few years!</description>
